📢 College Heritage Documentation Programme

Preserving Our Past. Presenting Our Story. Inspiring Our Future.

The College invites students, alumni, teachers, and well-wishers to take part in a unique heritage initiative designed to preserve and share the history of our institution.

This programme consists of **three interlinked competitions**, each contributing to the documentation and presentation of our college heritage. The submission date will be 30th September 2026. The awards and the award ceremony information will be provided here soon.

1. 📝 Chronicle Competition

A research-based written competition focused on documenting college history through verified sources.

The submissions may include:

• One Historic building or landmark
• One significant event of the college (e.g. Opening of Pavilion, Rugby match with College xxx of 2026)
• One Distinguished individual (e.g. Pioneer, Visitor, Principal, Teacher, Welwisher, OldBoy, Student, Employee)

Requirements:

• Chronological factual writing
• Use of reliable sources
• Proper referencing
• Supporting documents

2. 🎤 Presentation Competition

A structured oral presentation supported by slides.

Format:

• 10–15 minutes presentation
• Individual or group participation

Focus:

• Clear explanation of researched history
• Use of photographs, maps, and documents
• Logical structure and communication

3. 🎥 Heritage Video Competition

A short documentary-style video presenting researched historical content in a creative format.

Guidelines:

• 5–10 minutes duration
• Based on verified historical information
• May include interviews, narration, and archival materials
• Creativity encouraged with factual accuracy maintained

Presentation Competition

• Accuracy of content (30%)
• Clarity of communication (25%)

• Engagement and delivery (10%)

Video Competition

• Historical accuracy (30%)
• Research foundation (20%)
• Creativity (20%)
• Narrative clarity (20%)
• Technical quality (10%)
