Activities
- Sent new year cards to all members, to Old boys' union, to all the branches and groups and to the teachers those who participated in the teachers' felicitation ceremony “Guru Upahara Ulela” held by our group in 1998.
- On the announcement of the retirement of the present principal Mr Asoka Herath, we supported the idea of finding a principal who is an old boy of the college with the consent of the mother union. It failed last minute due to a legal problem.
- 2001.03.27 Welcome dinner to the new Principal Mr S.M.Keerthirathne (former principal of the Ranabima Royal College, Kandy) at Hotel Queens, Kandy
- 2001.03.30 Donated a Cardholder to use in the library of the primary section. On our request, a Member of the Central Provincial Council and old Rajan Mr Lal Wijenayake has allocated 25,000/= from the decentralized budget.
- 2001.05.17 3rd Annual Vesak Dansela at the Queens Hotel car park
- 2001.06.23 Participated in the “Rajans Walk for the Millenium” and Organized a cool drink for the participants
- 2001.07.14 Raffle Draw at Mother Union Headquarters
- 2001.08.26 Annual trip to visit Kotmale holiday resort
- 2001.09.13 Handed over the Photo depicting Billimoria Building to the Principal
- 2001.10.26 Development work of Dharmaraja College Archives and Museum was started
- 2001.10.29 Public Trustee Donated 100000Rs. from Sir D.B.Jayathilake Trust.
- 2001.12.15 AGM and Get-Together held at Hotel Suisse from 6.30 PM to 2.00 am in grand style.
- Participated in funerals of immediate relations of our members, informed all the members and printed leaflets when ever time is sufficient.
- Created email account and home page.
